This three bedroom apartment is occupied by an image consultant who requested for a home that is “heavily classical style.” The design has been modernized with contemporary lines, inspire by the shade of colonial architecture commonly applied to the early century bungalows. Monochromatic pallet is employed to create a greater sense of depth and spaciousness. As such, series of wall paneling with carved wood borders inlay, supported by black painted shadow lines, intended to camouflage and replace existing service door to kitchen and common bathroom. Platforms are utilized to distinct public and private sanctuary, establishing distinctive spatial hierarchy.
