An extensive Addition and Alteration work is done to this 3-storey intermediate terrace house is to comply with the owner requirement to shelter a three generation dwellers desire for an improved ventilated space, yet efficiently encouraging family member to ‘look out’ from their bedrooms in view for better visual communication within the house. Volumetric light-well as the main architectural element, is employed to optimize this function. Stairway landing has been re-route so to create an uninterrupted circulation within this longitudinal layout. Passive vertical glass feature panels dominate wrapping up the spaces with its the material and method application so as to conceal most of the storage compartment seamlessly. It also assisted on camouflaging most of the service doorway to common bathroom, store and bedrooms.
